1. they're easy to clean

Probably the most desirable aspect of porcelain tiles would be the maintenance! When our clients come into the showroom looking to design their dream homes, asking for something that will be easy to clean and maintain, we always point them to the direction of porcelain tiles.

2. most can be installed outdoors

Because porcelain tiles are one of the most dense flooring products available today, most of them can be installed outside as  long as they have a slip resistant texture on them. This is a great option if you want to carry your porcelain "wood" floors out to a patio or backyard, creating a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors.

*Always be sure to check with your tile supplier that your porcelain is rated for outdoor use (especially if you live in colder climates.)

3. they can go in bathrooms and kitchens with no worry

Unlike natural wood floors, porcelains don't absorb water and can be used in areas that are sure to experience moisture. This makes it easy to install your porcelain planks in kitchens, bathrooms and even shower walls for a unique design!
