Meet The Designer - Lindye Galloway

This month we chat with Orange County Interior Designer, Lindye Galloway. Lindye and her team are known for their clean coastal aesthetic and love for bold mosaic patterns, colors and textures.
Without further ado, let's dive into the interview!
What first sparked your passion for interior design?
I grew up with my dad owning a home building company for master planned communities and city high rises, so I was exposed to the industry early on and fell in love with good design from a young age.
where do you draw inspiration for new projects you're working on?
I try to stay inspired by current trends, but ultimately I find fresh inspiration in each project through the location, homeowner's style and background.
What's your ultimate dream design project?
I feel like I'm currently working on some of my dream projects, but if Oprah called....haha!
What are some of your favorite design trends for 2018?
I love that our clients are trusting me more to use fun patterns that are currently popular, while still being timeless. And Famosa has our favorite selection!

What's your number one tip for creating a beautiful environment?
Creating the mix of a livable space with a style that reflects our clients' style.
What's the best part about your job?
I love that I get to be creative while building beautiful homes that my clients will be able to enjoy and create memories in for years to come.
what do you love most about the famosa showroom?
I love that when you walk through the door you're instantly met with inspiring tile that's displayed beautifully, and in a way that's easy to visualize. I also love that there's a team of people who are ready to collaborate and help me serve my clients well.

we love the new line of pillows available on your website! Can we expect more surprises from you in 2018?
Thank you! We put a lot of love into our pillows, and we wanted to make it so that everyone could have a little taste of our studio's style in their home. My team and I are always dreaming up new ideas, so stay tuned!
